Calling all volunteers!

There are a number of great volunteering opportunities for you to get involved in, giving you the chance to work in some of the most outstanding and beautiful areas of Yorkshire. You will see some spectacular views, and if lucky enough some marvellous wildlife sightings.

The majority of volunteering work will involve pre-restoration surveys, covering areas in the Dales, Nidderdale, North York Moors and South Pennines. The surveys involve peat depth measurements, vegetation identification, and data logging. It can involve walking quite a few miles a day over very rough and boggy ground with rucksacks and equipment.

If you are interested in doing some survey work or would like some more information please contact - Astrid Hanlon to get involved.
