Restoration

We have been restoring blanket bog in Yorkshire since 2009 under both Higher Level Stewardship and Countryside Stewardship. Our experienced team can carry out PA1 and PA2 surveys, draft bespoke restoration plans, engage contractors to deliver restoration, and offer a full clerk of works service. To enquire about how we can help with blanket bog, go to our contact us page.

See our restoration page to find out more about the techniques we use.

Remote sensing

Our pilots are Civil Aviation Authority certified and have surveyed over 11,500 hectares of peatland using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) - as far as we know this is the largest dataset of its kind in the UK. We can also use open-source data from the Landsat and Copernicus Sentinel satellites to assess large areas quickly and without physical access. Contact us to find out how we can help with digital mapping.

You can find out more about our UAV and satellite surveying on our remote sensing page.
